Default Former Marine Needs Work in the Webster / Clear Lake, Texas area

I am not sure if this is where I should post this but it looked like the best place.

My Orders were abruptly cut short this past september and I have been unable to find work despite my many efforts. I was an Infantryman - Sniper, I have deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. I have lead men in teams of four up to platoons of 30+. I have included my Linkedin Profile so you may view my full resume.

Here is my Cover letter:

Edward Bryan Robinson Jr.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing concerning a position with your company. I have a particular interest in working for your company and would appreciate being considered as a candidate for employment.

I have over 6 years experience as a United States Marine. I am the ideal candidate for this position because I am a hard worker and I have a diverse set of skills. My skill set includes knowledge of management methods and tactics, security protocol and procedures, 6 months of GIS testing and programing, organization, data processing, records, reports, and file maintenance, and coordination of activities between superiors and subordinate staff. I am proficient with Microsoft Office applications; I have a certificate in Leadership. This is why I am the ideal candidate for this position.

I have attached my resume. I hope it will be helpful in evaluating my qualifications for the position. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience to arrange for an interview. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your requirements for this employment opportunity.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

E. Bryan Robinson Jr.

Have you thought of looking into a position at a gun shop/shooting range?
