Thumbs up Where should I place my business?

Hello,

A few investors and I are looking to open a higher end detailing shop in DFW area. We are especially interested in the Addison, Plano, and Garland area (in that order) and I'm seeking opinions as to where you guys would prefer the shop to be, assuming you would be interested in using our shop to work on your vehicle.

This is not your typical "drive thru" car wash or high traffic car wash. This shop will focus on proper washing techniques, paint correction, and all your waxing/polishing/clay barring, etc. needs.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Anywhere in Plano or Addison would be great for your business...garland if the budget is tight, somewhat of a dirty area. Richardson or Allen is nice as well! If i were starting a business and wanted a central location it would be in Addison.

Can't go wrong with Plano or Addison. What type of detail business exactly? Are you guys basically going to be a professional detailing shop where you guys do correction details and the works in house rather than a mobile Detailer?

I would also say Addison. I'll be a future customer.

Basically, yes. We will eventually invest into doing mobile also but initially we will be a "fixed" salon.

Garland was an idea since it seems to be such an automotive type of city. In other words, there are many shops over there who would theoretically recommend us.

Thanks for your opinion guys, it really helps.

I am looking for a few people who will let me detail their vehicles, at cost, and allow me to use their vehicles for the website.

I have been constantly looking online and driving around for the Addison area. Today I found a few buildings off Midway that I'm looking for.

Keep a look out on my350z and Facebook for us. Our company name, assuming it is available, will be Reflections Auto Detail.

Who is your target market? West side = higher end customers with nicer cars. East side = more ghetto. Who you trying to appeal to?

Disregard that last question. We found a spot in Addison/Carrollton area, just off Trinity Mills and the Tollway near AutoSource Dallas and all those other dealerships.

I just bought a house in Addison, close to Beltline n Midway.

Please open it somewhere close to that, so I can be a regular customer and get the my350z discount.

FYI: Land aint cheap in Addison.

Addison land (for buying) is somewhere between Downtown Dallas (most expensive) and Plano.
I am guessing its the same case for renting.
