The Adams Mark is a place for the bums to go to keep warm. Ouch, good luck down there! Bring weapons and leave all valuables at home. It's a scary place. If you don't have to, don't go outside the hotel either. You WILL get mugged and/or shot. That area of town is off limits to non gang members and other thugs. I would be very afraid of your business trip and request with your company to send somone else.

Eww...this isn't sounding too great. The hotel's website didn't seem that bad.

Its bad but not that bad, your going to frighten that guy(just stay in your car and do not walk and Deep Ellum is 1 mile away with some nice clubs). Coming from the LA area it should be a breeze most anyplace is coming from their unless you go to some of the bad parts of Chicago and NYC which are in another league of bad.

The meetings are at the convention center at the Adams Mark. Is there a better place to stay that's near the hotel since I'll have to go there daily for meetings???

I think he said he won't have a car. It's not bad at all during the day, I'm around there every weekday. The City of Dallas is trying to build up residential places, shopping, etc. Downtown but it's not there yet. If you are going out at night I'd probably just call a taxi and go to Deep Ellum. There are a few nicer clubs around Downtown, the only one coming to mind right now is Blue. It's a pretty nice place. Good luck.

The Adams Mark Is a Very nice hotel, you will Enjoy it. Dallas is Just like LA was 5-10 years ago, but without the Riots. If you Go to Club Blue, Ask for Bartender Brian, he will take care of you.

Yeah I was kidding. I don't spend any time at night near the hotel although the Adams Mark is a nice hotel. But I wouldn't go strolling at midnight. Anyways, I think you should visit the Lodge. Ask for the DJ and he will hook you up.

It's not that bad at night. I llived in Deep Ellum for two years and their are plenty of bars/clubs/restaurants to get into trouble at!

For dinner, Monica's in DE is really good and has a great atsmophere. Besides Blue which is great, there is also Club Euphoria and Umlot that are downtown as well.

But for "live" entertainment, I agree with Fly By Z...just go to the lodge and ask for the DJ Chazz..hehe!

By 3/26, you probably mean you are leaving sometime in the day? If you'll be around that night I'm always down for going out on the weekends. My weeknight bedtime is around 9:30. Let me know. I might be able to work in a Thursday night if I'm really feelin crazy. Yowza!
