Default Tire feathering - after custom rims??

I was looking for this guy I met this week in Galveston that told me he has had feathering after new tires, new toe-in, and even after new rims and F1 Eagles. I wanted to know what rims he got. Also, did nissan refuse to replace the tires a second time?

Anyone else: have you been refused tires on the second go around? I just got my new tires last week from Baker Jackson.

New rims or tires do nothing to solve the root cause of the problem.

Of course.

I just want to find someone that has been refused new tires by Nissan. Is Nissan giving people new tires after the second set starts feathering?

A lot of people are lucky to get new tires the first time.

But my guess (with the way I've ready about most dealerships handling this) is that once you get aftermarket wheels and tires, they won't do squat to help you. I hope they prove me wrong, though.

Regardless of custom rims, has anyone received new tires more than once?

I don't think so.

If it's over 12,000 miles, then dealer will not warranty tires / alignment anymore.
