Question Question for NTTA Tag users

Has anyone experienced trouble with mounting the NTTA tag as recommended in front of the inside rear view mirror at the top of the front windshield glass in the 'dotted' area?

Intereference with Homelink operation from mirror with transponder installed?

Do the glass "dots" interfere with proper NTTA transponder operation or adhesive strip adhesion?

TIA

No me neither, I actually covered the front with part of a black shoe box so it wasn't so noticible and it still works fine.

Default Re: Question for NTTA Tag users

The tag should be mounted at least 2" away from anything metallic (i.e. roof, metallic tint, etc.) for a proper tag read. It used to be that you had to mount them on the top left corner, but I believe NTTA has calibrated the tag readers to read tags if they are below the rearview mirror.

Michael.
