Houston Nissan Car Show
October 30th,
Mossy Nissan and the Z Club of Houston are hosting a car show at Mossy's location out on Old Katy Rd.
They are really rolling out the red carpet for us. Proceeds from registration and our raffle (of many way cool items) are to go to M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Center.
We'll also have a drop station for non-perishable food items for the Houston Food Bank.
We're planning on some really nice trophies for the winners and a cool event shirt for each registrant.
Registration is only $20.
We've also enlarged the "other" class to try to get more Nissan Products involved.
We have the registration forms ready, and should have all the information on our website shortly...so go to: www.zcar.org
or,
email me at: zcardave@aol.com (please put a Z somewhere in the heading so I won't delete you) and I'll shoot you the bulletin with all the particulars.
So, come on out and spend the day. It's shaping up to be a really fun event.
Hope to see you there,
zcardave

So how did the event go..Every time they have one of these events I miss them. I really wanted to attend but they are never really talked about on the forums. Just one post that gets put the bottom.
Well maybe next time..
Well maybe next time..
Thanks for asking...
the event turned out to be fantastic !
Of course, the weatherman kept predicting rain, but the day turned out beautiful.
We had one little shower that lasted all of 30 seconds, but that was it.
I think that weather prediction kept the attendance down, but we still had 39 Z's registered (and a lot that didn't). Mr. Mossy himself was there, enjoying the cars and the people.
He REALLY rolled out the red carpet for us. He donated LOTS of cool prizes for the raffle, to go along with the bunch of prizes that the Z Club of Houston brought out...plus, 3 cars from the Capital City Z Club (Austin) came, and even they brought out some of their club T-Shirts for raffle prizes! (Thanks CCZCC).
The Event T-Shirts were way cool, as were the trophies, which included a photo of the car & driver. We got LOTS of compliments and for the first time ever, I didn't hear one complaint from anybody about anything !!!
We raised over $800 for M.D. Anderson Cancer Research plus over $250 for the Houston Food Bank, along with collecting over 75 lbs. of food for them. We couldln't be prouder (or happier) with the way the whole day went....IT WAS FANTASTIC !
