Default FS: 42" Plasma, (Houston only)

I’m moving to Florida in a few weeks. So I need to sell a few things that are going to be a hassle to move ...

42” Panasonic Plasma, Model#TH-42PWD6UY.

It's a commercial model which means that it does not have speakers or a built in tuner. So, you would need a HT audio set up and a satellite or cable receiver.

The display is about 9 months old with about 1500 hours or so on it (I can open up the service menu and check for the exact amount). This display's 1/2 life is rated at 25-30k hours. At 4-6 hours per day that’s like ~17ish years for 1/2 brightness. No dead pixels. Exterior is in perfect condition, no scratches, etc. It's already calibrated on all of the inputs (if you paid somebody to do this, it would probably cost 200-300). It's an ED plasma (852x480 resolution), but it still accepts a 1080i signal. The difference between this and a HD plasma (1028x768 resolution), is that you need to sit about 1-2 ft further from the screen to not see a screen door effect (it looks like you’re looking through a screen door). Recommended viewing distance is 7-8ft.

Connections are via BNC connectors, I have BNC/RCA adapters for whoever buys the set. There is:

1 15-pin VGA (used as either a component connection or as VGA to hook your computer up to it)

1 S-Video/Composite (you can only use one or the other, composite will provide a better picture over S-Video on this set for SD cable)

1 Component connection

There is an expansion slot on the display, so you can also buy an additional component/DVI card.

Table stand mount is included ($150)

Retail on this set is $4k. You can buy it online now for like $2-$2200 shipped - without the table stand.

It's a great Plasma, and I plan on buying the same set once I land in Fl, it’s just a pain in the *** too move.

I want to sell it for $1800OBO locally.

Bello Plasma Stand:

Was like $350 originally … will sell for $150 if you buy the plasma.

Harmon Kardon 5.1 Satellite System:

Great for smaller rooms/bedroom (I used this for my bedroom) … it's not enough power for a huge living room, has a 10” sub.

Want to sell for $200OBO locally

I use the flat “tape” speaker cable … it’s like 100 ft of cabling included.

ADR M-Sport wheels 19x8.5 +35MM Front 19x9.5 +35MM Rear … $500 Local
Minor nicks from daily driving, no curb rash … one of the front wheels has a minor bend, it does not affect the balance of the wheel, SABS can fix it for like $100.

If I had the money it'd be out of your hands, but being a student has some real drawbacks.

PS - Are you getting rid of the Z and getting a G? why? Your Z is one of my favorites!

Sorry bro for some reason I thought you were getting a G and dropping the Z...that would be a shame after all the work you've put into yours.

Good luck w/the move and enjoy FL
