Greddy Emanage Ultimate Threw a Code...
I just got my EU hooked up and updated to the latest firmware 1.14.
Everything seemed peachy, I started up the car and it had no problems.
I drove it around and it felt fine. I didn't make any changes to any maps, they are all at 0. I just wanted to get the EU ready for tuning...
Then on my way home, SES / CEL comes on. Well it was 1AM so no way to check the code at this hour.
I wanted to see if it was going to be a recurring problem, so I did the technosquare pedal method ECU reset.
SES light goes away... I drive around for a bit and still no light. I checked all the wiring and it seemed fine. The car was driving great before and after reset. I took it to WOT/redline a couple of times and drove it about 5 miles. Everything was cool...
Since I didn't get the code with the OBDII scanner, I know that no one can tell what the specific problem might have been. That is why I ask:
Anyone (N/A guys) throw a code after the EU install? How about other ECU's?

I really hope I am not misfiring, that would be absolute crap.
Since it's so late I'm not going to check the harness tonight. Tomorrow morning I might just uninstall the EU (thanks to the autosport harness) and take a closer look.
Hope someone can give me some feedback. If the light comes back I'm taking it to pep boys or autozone or whatever and get the code asap instead of resetting.

OK I found my source of the p0300 code. It does have something to do with the EU. Well more percisely, the harness. Position 2 and 5 ignition was not stripped (the end that greedy crimped on the harness), and injector connections 3 and 6 were not stripped as well. If you cut and soldered all the connections, you will not have to worry about Greddy's crappy crimping. 
In regards to CEL's on NA cars running the EU's and no mapping...I havent seen one yet.

Drove 30 miles, shut the car down, started it back up, shut down, started up, no codes.
Drove 30 miles home, shut the car down, started it up, shut down, started up, no codes.
If it comes up again I'm *really* going to check it this time.
I did not solder the wires myself. I bought it used so it was done before hand. I checked every wire connection myself though versus the factory service manual and using the instruction manual. (Although did not inspect the solder points because there was heat shrink tubing on them).
Once again, the car's running great.

Going to autozone is a huge hassle for me. They always seem to be closed when I have free time. But I will do it for sure if it happens again.

P0128 Thermostat Function
Coolant Temp is below Thermostat setpoint temp (something like that)
I guess the car seems to be running a little cooler than before.
I'm still under warranty, so I think I'll take out the EU and take it to the dealer.
I don't see how the EU can cause thermostat malfunction. Maybe it was a coincidence. The EU does not alter the engine coolant temp signal right? It only reads it, but does not make changes to that signal?
Most importantly, is this safe to drive? It seems fine... but I think I'll keep from going to redline until I have it resolved

The EU doesnt alter the coolant signal, it just reads it I would double check that wire. If nothing is apparent, then head to the dealer.
Leave the EU in there....they probably wont even notice it.

That's what I thought. Weird timing though if this is a random malfunction that occurred RIGHT after installing EU.

This is kinda cool actually. The car runs much cooler judging by the temperature gauge position. Perfect driving condition for summer.
So I guess my thermostat is stuck open? Thank god it's not stuck closed.

You could also try unplugging the EU (I assume its wired to an autosport), and see if the code comes back.
I removed the EU and reset the code.
The car warmed up totally normally!!! With the EU warmup was taking forever.
I'm pretty sure I don't have a busted thermostat, so according the the service manual it's probably a faulty wire!
There's something fishy going on here, because if the thermostat is working then it is NOT controlled by electrical signals right? It is only controlled by temperature correct?

correct, the thermostat is thermo controlled.
on a side note- SHARIF is there any update or anyone figure out why some of the eu's show incorrect ignition signal input on certain channels for no apparent reason? it comes back very quickly whenever i clear it and sets the eu into flashing red mode. everything seems to be ok, but thinking it may keep my a/f target map function from working. any ideas?
