need a little help....

cpracing has been tring to figure out my CEL for awhile now,

they replaced the UTEC, cam sensors, crank sensor


still getting a cel after 3000rpms!!!!!!!! then limp mode

not sure of the code, but they're about the cam sensors &/or crank sensor

car idles fine & rev's to 3,000 just fine, then______________________

any ideas

 

could you find out the code please man

I'm picking up my car tomorrow & letting my niassan master tech friend hook it up to the BIG computer at the Nissan dealership. Hopefully we'll get some answers.
possibilitys:
bad ground to UTEC
cam selonoid
cam postition sensor
crank postition sensor
timing chain mis-aligned

 

Whats the code you getting? Have you tried removing the utec completely and see if it duplicates itself so as to eliminate the utec as being the problem completely?

 

i haven't seen my car in a month

Eric at CPRacing has been doing all the diagnostics & tuning

I'm sure he's gone thru all the basics and then some, but I'll re-ask him tomorrow.

well as julian said, you should figure out if its the utec causing it or the actual car throwing a code to narrow down some things, let us know when you get it back!!
