Default tuning problem?

Ok, here is the problem that've been troubling me for a long time:

I have the following engine related mods to my 2003 6MT.

Mine's straight pipe, custom straight midpipe, Central20 type 2 exhaust, Skunk 2 intake plenum, central 20 3.9 final drive, blitz intake and Greddy emanage tuned by Ultimate Racing out of Scarborough, Ontario.

At first, my car dynoed stock at 253.9hp (the dyno is attached directly to my rear rotor).
Then I installed the above exhaust mods and dynoed at the same place again. To my surprise, I only put out around 230hp this time! I was very upset and took up the advise from the dyno shop owner, who suggest me to go and tune my engine.

So i went to Johnson at Ultimate Racing for help. For those of you who are not familar with Ultimate, they are a pretty famous turbo tuning shop here in Toronto, and are selling their own turbo kits for the 350z, evo, s2000...etc.

So I purchased a Greddy E-manage system from Ultimate and got my ECU street tuned by Johnson himself. He said the engine is running too lean so he adjusted the fuel ratio.

After that, I drove the car and it felt great. So I thougth it was dealt with.

But later on, when i race other cars, i begin to think that my car is very slow...I have ran with couple of exhaust moded S2000s and found that I cannot pull them from 1-2-3-4 but 5-6 I gain like crazy. Some of you are gonna say maybe I'm a bad driver, well, to make sure this is not the issue, I let my friends drove the car, same results, I even let the S2000 guy drive my car, same results.

So I went back to another dyno shop, and the dyno result was something like 220hp, so Im very confused...

The tuning did nothing, and it seems like these tunin/dyno shops just want to tune my car for me and charge me an arm and a leg.

So now i'm lost, I don't want to spend thousands of dollars to tune my car, cuz its ridiculous!

Any helpful inputs would be appreciated..

Maybe you have motor problems. Did you ever check out your motor?

Sincerely Glen

i went to the same dyno the first 2 times, when it was stock and after i have my test pipe installed. Because the number was so different and the guy keeps on telling me to tuning at at his shop, so I didn't feel comfortable. Then I went to this other place after I installed my straight mid pipe, and that dyno result was lower than stock too, and this guy too, keeps on push me to tune at his place for like $2000 CDN! So then I went to Ultimate racing for Greddy emanage and tuning.

Maybe I should take off my Greddy Emanage and see if stock ecu would be anygood?

I have the stock dyno sheet if anyone wants to see it...
