Default UTEC rev limiter

I have my rev limiter set to 72 in the UTEC, but it still kicks in at around the same point as stock. I tried 75 as well and got the same result. I am using open loop fueling (its set to 1) on version 2.6. My TPS threshhold is 75, RPM threshhold is 20. Any ideas?

Also, why is the stock injector size in the UTEC 380cc? I thought the Z had 290cc injectors...

If you own an 2005 or 2006 Z then good luck with adjusting the rev-limit with the UTEC because it can't be done yet. You'll need to get the ECU reflashed to accomplish this.

2004 > can't raise idle
2005> can't raise idle and rev limit

2007 > can't open hood

I would recommend experimenting with lower than stock rev limits first until you get it working correctly. You can go down to 5000rpm.

Did you turn the car off and then on again after saving the settings?

the thread says our injectors are rated at 290cc, but since our fuel system is returnless, we run slightly higher fuel pressures than what is used to calculate injector sizes, which cause our effective injector sizes to increase (higher pressure means more fuel)
