Default Noob Tuning ?

Hey guys ive asked this before but didnt really get any straight answers. I am going to a 8.8 CR on my built block. I am going to be without turbos for a year so with that CR will i need to retune. If so do i need a piggyback?

i would recommend getting a utec. this will allow you to fully tune it now and whenever you add/change anything!!

i thought you could run that type of setup without a retune but the car would run like crap meaning there will be a power loss and you could run cheaper gas if you wanted to because the CR is lower...i'm not sure though so someone correct me if i'm wrong.
