Default VQ40 VS. VQ30 Tuning

Ok guys,

I'm new here and completely new to this latest generation of nissans. I'm about to get myself a new Xterra and was wondering if anyone here knows if the EMS in the X is in any way similar to the EMS in the 350z.

Anyone know if the e-manage, SAFC-II, UTEC or other programmable system will wire up to or plug into the X? I know this may not be the right place to ask but the X owners only seem to care about driving over rocks and splashing in the mud - they're pretty much useless for tuning questions.

i have a lot of experience modding and tuning a variety of imports ranging from Mazda Rotaries to Honda B-series. I used to be a distributor for Microtech Engine Management systems and was a factory trained tuner a few years ago. I can tune a fully programmable ECU and might be looking for one to suit this platform in the near future. If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Ray

I think that the answer would be that the ECUs are not compatible, but to be sure, I would contact TurboXS and ask them
