Can the maps be changed on the fly (i.e., car in motion) or must you reduce your speed or stop the car (I know you said you don't have to shut it off)?

The UTEC can switch on the fly, but you must drop the Rs below 1600rpms if I'm not mistaken. Might be the same situation here...if not, that's cool.

On-the-fly map switching is possible (while the vehcile is in motion). However, we recommend the vehicle be stop for general safety reasons.

I doubt that UpRev is using same Techtom software (or any Techtom product) as TS.

This reminds me of the APR flash on Audis. Same deal...multiple maps and switching with the cruise control buttons.

if either company's software can accomplish the same task at hand at customizing the 3map settings, would it then come down to price ?
not sure if Turbonetics can do the custome 3 map setting though.

As far as I am concerned Cobb Tuning for the win, they are expected to release the accessport for the Z and nissan models soon. Their unit is supposed to be similar to what they offer for the Subaru models, and from past experience they offer a top notch product.
No more downtime with mail in flashes for me.

The Turbonetics boost control is not controlled by the ECU and the stock ECU has no ability or provisions for electronic boost control.. The only way to reduce boost pressure is to add a boost controller and lower psi spring to the wastegate. Best case they could only hit 4 PSI. Although with this you could set the rev limiter to 2500 RPMs and they wouldn't be able to do much.

You have to honk your horn and turn on the rear windshield wiper to engage the map switch . . . this must be synchronized.

The UpRev reflash hardware/software was developed in house from the ground up by reverse engineering the software on the ECU. And no the TN / AAM / TS / TechTom system does not have the ability to store alternate maps on the ECU.
BTW: 05 and newer ECUs have room for 5 alternate maps . Got N2O combinations ?

Actually we can limit the amount of boost by modifying the electronic throttle control. It doesn’t matter what the spring pressure is, if the throttle body only opens 10% @ wide open throttle you’re still not going to get any boost . Rev limiting does work pretty well too.

No TCU reflash yet, but it’s on the list to get done.

Can all four blinkers (hazard) be turned on automatically while under hard braking? With Brembo I really miss this feature.

To bad no one will release software like this in a standalone package. Hell they could make it only usable on one ecu by having it attached to the VIN number in each car. People would pay extreamly good money for something like this.
