Default Turbonetics to UTEC question.

I am gonna be switching to a UTEC here soon with a return fuel system and just retain the 380cc Injectors for now, my question is do I have to reflash the ECU again or can I just leave it alone?

I had Nissan bump idle for Tilton(900) then sent my ECU to Techno SQ mentioned that Nissan bumped idle and I wanted to retain it so they did something and it resulted in a double bump so idle increased to 1100. Then I got a Turbonetics reflash but idle was not changed so it remained at 1100. Hawaii Nissan won't touch it

lol yea it's kinda weird but if the UTEC can be set up to control everything I wont have to send it off again right?

I'm just looking for a little advise I'm getting a longblock with 9.0-1 compression and GTM Turbo cams and my tuner in Hawaii has not tuned with a UTEC yet but has done quite a few Z's

Also can I get a base map in the UTEC to aid in the initial tune?

A lot of questions so any help is appreciated.

No you don't need to reflash the ECU. The UTEC will only take over at a certain load point so any time the UTEC is not running the motor the reflash will. A few people have done this. And once the UTEC takes over it takes complete control so it doesn't really matter what flash parameters are in there cause the UTEC is going to take full control at that point.

I just installed my UTEC on my TN kit last weekend. It can be tuned fine from a TN reflash.
