Default for those w/ rev up & unichip

so i know the maps for the unichip are for the 287hp motor and ive seen a few threads on this but im concerned about hooking up the unichip and driving it. now i know i could just wait till i get to the shop to put it in cause im n/a but i just wanna know if it is safe to run and is there a difference w/ the butt dyno on the base maps set on the unichip itself? just wondering cause ive had this unichip for 6 months just waiting to get all my n/a mods so i can get a tune.

You will be fine, the Unichip has two map resolution settings and the 350Z applicatiob should be on the higher one going up to around 8k I think, but just to be safe don't push it until it is tuned, is it new or used from someone else? The install is easy so you can always wait until you get to the tuner to install it.
