Default UTEC TROUBLE......help asap please

hey guys...
i have talked with jermaine numerous times and cant figure out the "real" problem with my utec...
i searched a ton and couldnt find any answers on our forum so ....
im getting error codes when i am going to download text files to the utec.... i had the aps 550 downloaded from mrc motorsports but its waaaayyy too rich....car will barely idle.... when i go to download the text(turbonetics base tune) he said it would be a lot closer then i got error messages....
they are... error unregistered class returned error 1412 / unregistered terminal class returned error 1412 / unregistered sidebar class returned error 1412....
just wondering if anyone else has had this prob...
thanks in advance....
ryan

Why didnt you just lean it out with the 550cc injector map? Just take fuel out of the 0% colum so it will idle then rebuild the fuel map. Do you have the MAP sensor connected and did you upload the parameters?

+1

If you can get the car to run with the map sensor connected and correct parameters you should be able to deduct fuel from the 0% column..

Check your pm..

If you cant do AIM then you have to go into your fuel settings..

There you will see all columns from 0- 100%

If you do not know what the 0% colum is in the fuel table i highly suggest you download the utec manual and then read it several times or tow your car to a shop. You can not just put a map in and expect to drive your car around on it.

No need to tow. Unplug the uTEC and run off of your ECU to your tuner. You will be fine.

relax there cupcake...i was told by numerous shops that i could have that map and drive the car to my tuner so they could dyno tune it...and its kinda hard to see the 0% column on the fuel table when there arent any maps on my utec *****!

Or just put the utec on map 0 to bypass it and drive it to the tuner and do not get in boost.

What fixed it? I know the manual says not to drive the car on 0 with upgraded injectors but am curious to know what you did to fix the problem..

You do not have to get hostile just because you have no idea what you are doing.

no i was getting a error message that neither i or jermaine at turbo xs could figure out and it would crash/log out of hyperterminal... we are not sure what the problem is so i just went to my stock ecu since it has a aam flash on it to drive to grd(chicago) and let me tuner/shop take a look at it
