Default diffrence in 4th and 5th gear pulls

i was wondering if there is any diffrence in power in a 4th gear pull to a 5th gear pull...my tuner used a dynojet and only did 4th. i was reading and some ppl insisted that 5th was the best on the z (or any 6th gear car). is there any validity in this?

If I'm not mistaken some had to do a 4th gear pull coz you hit the speed limiter at 5th before redline.

5th gear ratio is closest to 1 on our Z with stock final drive ratior. most dyno places do that to get the most accurate hp #s

if you pull in 4th. you get slightly higher HP readings.

The car should be run in the gear with a 1.0 ratio.

I dyno'd 263.8 in 5th gear and 262.6 in 4th right afterwards.
