Default Stroker Kits for N/A application.

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if any of you guys heard of the AEBS stroker kit...the kit sounds really sick and I am thinking of getting it...since I'm thinking of going N/A on my 03 Z. I guess my questions are...Is this a good kit? do you know anybody who uses this kit? and if this is not a good stroker kit...do you guys have any suggestions on what is a good one. Thanks in advance.

I know Z1 is in the process of doing a stroked N/A build. Hopefully it will be done soon and they will have some numbers up. I think they are going to run the Brian Crower kit.

Performance Factory [ Jeremy ] did a N/A stroked motor and I think he made like 340whp....I could be wrong on the numbers . I think he said he was bored with it....lol...and was putting a turbo on it .

Jeremy's NA motor wasn't stroked, and it made 305 hp.

Might want to go a little bit lite on the "do a search" stuff...

I started doing a search after you said that booger, but yeah his was just a high compression N/A build. I think Z1 is going to be the first stroked N/A build.

Not a problem... I probably pay more attention to the NA posts because that's what I'm interested in...

You can do a GTM Stroker or Brian Crower Stroker in higher compression ratios..
We sell both.

How much for a built short block and how much for a balanced parts assembly? I've talked to a few companies on the boards, yet after trying to keep in contact never got any quotes, now I'm leaning back towards just boosting the motor but I am still open to having my mind changed

Me and you both. I'm obviously not a high priority on my engine builders list as this motor is not for a race team and he knows its not my daily driver.

Believe me this motor is so packed full of goodies that EVERYONE will have updates as soon as I do.

Any updates on this?

Which stroker kit are you planning to use? You're going to stay NA, right?

Jeremy did a 15:1 compression stock displacement...i can only imagine a 4.2L 15:1 compression car...jeremy ran a 12.3 i believe...so stroked with same compression 11's all day all motor! that would be amazing

Either way you need to build up the internals. Either people on here do not tune the car correctly or the motor just isnt not made stock for boost. N/A seems like a better approach with less things breaking like rods.

I just got off the phone with the engine builder actually. It's coming along rather well, it should be done by the end of this month.

I went with the Brian Crower 4.15 liter kit (11.5 compression ratio), Tomei 280 Cams and a host of other goodies.
