Default UTI Data Logger

I just ordered the UTI Logging software... I got back a confirmation email, but no software, no key, nothing. Just an order number and a charge on my credit card. Is this guy actually *MAILING* the software to my address???

Yeah, we live in such an instant gratification fast food society these days~ Lol!

I got the OCX and MTS files installed & registered in the win xp registry. Kind of clumsy the way you have to manually install and register the files. But - It's working great!

Hey, I looked around the net for a user manual to go with UTI, but didn't find one. Do you by chance know what the "Count", "Sum", and "AFR Offset" mean in the Real Time tables section? Also, are the values in the tables "averages" like in MPS?

I think I pretty much have the rest of the UI figured out...

I found this UTI Support forum. Pretty helpful. I see Quadcam is posting there~ Lol! :-)

Did you change the Target A/F? It is one of the excel sheet and I would email Jeff if you have any question. He does check his email everyday. Not sure what exactly is your question.

I was just wondering what the Count, Sum, and AFR Offset values mean circled on the right.

I never really care about them coz I just looked at the number per cell and see how much of I am compared to my target A/F. To get an accurate reading, you must change your Target A/F by changing the PumpGas excel sheet to the A/F you want.

Well, I logged a bunch of hours road tuning with UTI this weekend... I gotta say, I love the threshold trigger for logging!! I just set the threshold for 2000 rpm, 25% tps, 10% load - And viola! It started logging everytime those parameters were met in Open Loop!

So I just drove around town to get snapshots of daily driving, then went out to less populated areas to do a few 130+ mph pulls -
Although I do have to say that I find interpreting a "serial dump" style log much easier than trying to use the UTI table formats~

But - UTI threshold trigger FTW! :-)

This really help you do some adjustment on the fly coz you don't have to look at garbage data. At first I preferred looking at the raw data but now I prefer looking at the cell and see which cell I need to adjust. I just use the raw logs if feel something is inconsistent. Auto logging is FTMFW!! I also love the Audible coz this let me know when to lift my right foot!!!

Yup. I was having some issues when I first installed the UTI. Unfortunately, there aren't many active posters in there.

Has anyone noticed this? When I compare UTI logs to native UTEC logs, the UTI logs have some pretty serious lag.

Example: If I compare my timing map to the UTI logs, the UTI log is off by as much as 1.5 degrees. If I compare the same timing map to a native UTEC log, it's spot on...

Any suggestions or insight? For now I'm back to using the native UTEC logging.
