Default getting the car tuned

I want to get my car tuned in a few months and these are the places I have to choose from. Just want to get people opinion's on who they trust the most or someone who is not on the list they recommand. I think I am going with the UTEC or reflash.

this poll has some merit to it, but it is also a rather ridiculous poll. A poll like this is more of a popularity contest.

take the time to do some research; you won't really get an accurate repsonse from your poll.

I kind of figured that, but I was also hoping to get some info from the people who had some experience with these shops

I've only had a few first hand experiences with all of the above listed companies.

AAM: I don't know about there tuning ability but I was less than impressed with there pleum spacer, and if thats any idication I would say no to this option.

Z1: I will never do business with ever again, after they flat out lied to me and tried to royally screw me on a trans I bought from them. so I wouldn't buy or deal with them period.

Forged: I bought an aps plenum from Sharif, to replace the AAM spacer. his people were very friendly and helpful and I they had the best pricing of anyone on the plenum. the plenum was shipped same day and arrived at my shop in a day or so. Of all the places you have listed, hands down I would deal with forged before anyone else.

actually I would pretty much go to forged for just about anything if at all possible.

there are onlya handful of shops that i would trust my car to for serious work such as Forged, MRC, Performance Factory, and GTM. I base that opinion off of the number of quality builds you see coming from these shops and the satisfied customers.

Yes, on the non revup only. You'll need a reflash to bump up the revup.

I have the AAM plenum spacer as well as an AAM tune... and I stopped buying stuff from them after those two expierences... the tune is terrible, it is like they only tuned it at Wide Open Throttle because my freaking gas mileage is terrible, there are so many more people on this forum with way more modifications that got theirs tuned at a great company like forged and ave better gas mileage and I can bet way better dyno numbers than if I finally strap mine down. And I agree with the guy that says the plenum spacer was less than impressive... this is so so so true.

Go and see Jeremy at Performance Factory here in Orlando FL. He is the shiznit! He will take care of you and will not BS you into buying anything you don't need and will tell you if you have something that you need to take off. Basically he is straight up.

He is here on the forums. He tuned my car. I am very happy, i just got it from him on Wednesday of last week from a tune to 10lbs on my utec.

GRD is a great shop and its located right off 355 in illinois. Irshad and Tuan are two of the nicest people i have met and are really knowleagable. I trust them with my car and my money over anyone.

i know the poll is limited to 3 shops...but how about an other option???? i know some ppl in atl tune their own cars or go to "non Z" shops....hell my shop does corvette and everything domestic and his first time on the utec got 280/265 outa my car...full bolt ons...and a 13.2 afr...pretty damn good. I think alota shops are over rated (cough***top speed***cough...long story) and are too high on their horse to do quality work and back it up. just my 2 cents.
