Default injectors and Utec

I recently installed 600cc injectors and my car was tuned for the stock inj. Now at idle I am at 8 afr I only let it run for about 20 seconds. Now I need to get it to the shop for a new tune but don't won't to run that rich can I use my utec in the fuel map take away 50% in each column to compenstate the extra fuel added? I also have the old software in my utec and I don't have the option to put in the size of injectors. any help would be great. The shop is only 6 miles away and i hate to have to pay for a tow for just that short distance.

What if I enter just the fuel map on the turbo xs site for the 550cc turbonetics setup and kept my timing map? I'm not going to go over 3,000 rpms to get to the shop. Just an idea. Want some input from others to verify before I try this.

All you should be concerned with at this point is the 0% load column. When driving to the shop, you should make sure not to hit boost at all - which will ensure that you never leave the 0% column.

My used Vortech kit that had 650cc's had a map on the UTEC that started at -20 in the 0% column and got down (well, up) to -17 at redline. Most of the maps i've seen on their website have like -3...which would be dumping too much fuel in. I plan on using the -20 to -17 values when I try firing my car up soon and see how it works.

I don't understand why you just don't trailer it if it's only 6 miles.

Thats what I am going to do tried of messing with it. I got it at 14.8 afr at idle just about 10 min ago But when I start it, it rev's up like normal then dies like it still getting way to much fuel.If I give it a little throttle like old car it starts and Idles fine. I started at -15 in the 0% column and went from there. The main reason I wanted to get it half right so when I get there I don't wast money on a tune if the car doesn't run right to began with. 3 weeks ago cost me 200 for nothing because he maxed out my stock injectors and told me to get larger injectors and the water/meth inj. which I did and ended costing me with tune $ 1,150 bucks. I have installed everything myself.

did you also adjust the entire RPM range of the 0 column? try to subtract more as you go higher the rpm and see it help.

If you're having issues where the car idles around 14.7, but then suddenly goes really rich for no reason, then something else is up. This isn't a tuning problem then, and the only thing the shop could do is diagnose the issue.

/\ +1 are you sure your injectors are installed right? maybe one of you injector is stuck open or damaged and dumping to much fuel... You don't have that big of an injector and the ecu should be able to scale it or at least get it close to stoich..

I was unsure when I bought those deatchworks a friend of mine had a lot of problems with a set but forged performance told me they were the best for the Z.Probably just a sales pitch .They installed with ease. They came with a paper that showed the flow rates they were all off 611,612,613,613,612,610 I changed plugs again all 6 were black as coal they all looked the same, fuel fouled.
