I know there are good tuners in NY and NJ but are there any good tuners with the Utec in CT. looking to get a turbonetics kit tuned.

Whatever you do don't go to SWIFT MOTORSPORTS. Trust me....they will overcharge and do exceptionally crappy work. They charged me $344 dollars to retape an oil pan and then it still leaked. Please just trust me on this! Also, the tuner in the shop is a friend of mine. He has no formal tuning training, only self taught. I love the guy but he is definately function of finess and tuning requires finess!

**Victory Research** in East Hartford, they do awesome work there, we did an AEM tune there last year on a cobra kit car, i dont know how good they are with UTEC though, give em a call, they're good people. Mainly a 4g63 tune shop, but they can do anything.

and right down the road from there is **XXtuning** which does some good tuning, dont know about their expirence with Utec though.

Sorry i couldnt be more specific for Utec, but thats all i know of.

 

I wouldn't trust ANYONE in CT to tune my car... you can call pruvenperformance in milford and ask them if they have ever tuned a UTEC for a 350z though

I shipped my car to Performance Factory in Orlando, but I've heard a lot of great things about MRC.

 

Of all the tuners I know in CT, none do UTEC on VQ. Go South.

 

ICS performance has also tuned a few 350s

Id just take it to julian at mrc. he did mine at a dyno day and did a lot better than the shop I took it to in ct. In like a tenth of the time.

 

I actually just had the car tuned by Junior at The Shop in bridgeport about 2 weeks ago car seems to run fine. I feel he did a good job with it .. made 381 hp. on 9 psi on a very hot day plus he made 2 other conservitive maps for me with lower boost and less timing .

Julian @ MRC is the most reputable tuner near NY. He's located in NJ.

if you're getting a UTEC tuned, your absolute, best bet is to contact BlackTuner on here. There is no better UTEC tuner out there

 

My vote goes to MRC..

 

It does help when he works for Turbo XS. Jermaine is a GREAT tuner. Stay away from Junior, if you want you car to last more than 1 month.
