Default Vortech tuning - what would be the best approach?

Since my 2003 Z is soon to be paid off and I have put a lot of $ in it, I decided to go FI and keep the car. It will be a Vortech tuner kit since most of the bolt on’s I have will complement it.

Relevant Mods I have

MD Plenum Spacer (also have a SSV out)
Kinetix Cats
Stillen TD
Sprut Headers
Quaife + 3.9Fd
ACT prolite FW + street P.Plate and Clutch
UTEC
+Other bunch of stuff

Plan to Get

Vortech Tuner kit
3.12 pulley
Basic Fuel return
600 Deatschwerks
Walbro 255

Here are the questions;

Already have a UTEC and was thinking to have a Flash for the 600cc and raise idle.

1 – Are the companies that provide flashes able to program the ECU for FI like Vortech.
( I think turbonetics were using flashes at the beginning ) If so, should I go ahead and flash the maps for the vortech and fine tune with the Utec latter or just flash to scale the injectors and tune via UTEC?

2- If a Vortech flash exist would I still need a Map sensor and fine tune Speed Density mode or just fine tune it in Open Loop via MAF Offset?

3 – Can someone provide me with a base map for a Vortech?

I’m not planning to tune it myself already know it is far different than just editing an NA map, I do not know in Puerto Rico any tuner for a UTEC with experience with a Vortech , have a name of someone that has experience with UTEC in WRX but would like to be well inform before doing anything , so would like to have a starting point to avoid a failure to my engine if the case is that end up doing the complete tune with the UTEC.

There are a lot of Vortech Z’s I don’t know why there is not a base map in the Turbo XS web just singles and twin turbo kits maps.

Help would be appreciated!

Default Same Here

I think me and you are looking for the same information, i basically have the same setup up. For a best result i think you should get the Mad Sensor for the speed density mode, from what i've read on the manual, the factory MAF MAx out at 4750rpm after that it won't be able to control the high pressure of fuel and air Mix.
