Default Osiris E tune vs Pro tune?

Im will be going osiris for more reliability and better drivability. I currently have greddy tt kit w/intercooler (K&N filters this week), unorthodox pulleys, (this week) aps 2.5" true dual exhaust.

My question is with cypher, theoretically i would be sending all necessary information to rev up to do an accurate reflash catered to my car. This would be the same essential information a pro tuner would collect on the dyno correct? So wouldnt it be more cost effective to do the e tune and get similar results?

since you are boosted without question pro-tune.

If your car is an 03-04 then the etunes requires a wideband to be installed.

Oh ok, yea mine is an 03 so i would need the wideband. The cost of that would offset the savings from an etune slightly. Pro tune it is i guess, saving the 1500 needed starting......now lol

ya, an email tune isnt even a viable option and I cant believe that Osirus would even suggest that as an option.

1500 installed dynoed and tuned for osiris and upgraded maf sensor. Im not sure which version but i guess its the base flash version pricey but seems to be worth it.

That seems way overpriced. The maf housing is 100 bucks. The base reflash with tune should be no more than 750 maybe 800 (it could be a bit more to dial in an FI set-up). I can't see this costing more than 1k. The maf housing takes about 45 seconds to install.

Yea thats why i wanted to see if the etune would provide good results, because its half the price pretty much. I actually found another pro tuner who is willing to work with me on the install and tune so it wont be as much. Around 1k like your saying

Since my Z has gone FI.I have spent a total off 1400 in just tunes. On different FI setups. So i wouldn't complain about cost if u want to get the best life out of your motor.

Get a pro tune on a dyno....
