Tuning Shops Near Oklahoma ?
Hey guys i dunno if if this is the right place to post this or not, but i assume so since it pertains to tuning lol !? Anyways i was wondering if any of you guys know of a good tuning shop within the bordering states of Oklahoma ? I went to a dyno just out of curiosity to see what i was putting down and my AFR's and come to find out i'm running pretty lean 14.2's at WOT so it kind of scared me a lil bit lol and my dyno looked like the ECU was pulling timing up top because i only dyno'd 235hp 225tq ! i would prefer to get tuned with Osiris or similar flashes based on what i've been reading on the forums about being NA and piggybacks wanting to fight with the ECU .. anyways any help would be awesome !
Oh yea my car is an 03 with Nismo Bolt on's I/H/E and i plan on staying NA .. and i want to add a plenum spacer before i get tuned

Edit: if you are staying N/A, just call uprev. Since you are going with osiris, they can get you what you need. You don't need a dyno tune with N/A.

k cool !! i've been doing a lil research and i really wanna get tuned by osris .. but i would rather get it tuned by someone instead of just sending in my ECU lol ... i noticed there are a few places in texas on Uprev's list .. any of those you recomend ?? i saw one place was 600 bucks to tune ... i just dont wanna spend 600+osris= way too much for just I/h/e lol you know ?

I'm pretty sure, 600 bucks is dyno tune. Its up to you, I wouldnt bother doing a dyno tune unless you do engine work.
If your friend did adjust things via cipher, I'm sure you can go back with cipher.

I honestly have no idea, how much dealer consult has enough room to play with stock ECU. But i'm sure 2 degree isn't a problem tho, might want to call dealer how much they charge you and if they can do that.
If you don't mine, could you explain more why he did that when you have just a bolt on?

Well supposedly when you advance your timing 2 degrees it advances the ignition process and allowing you to gain a few ponies .. NA builds you advance your timing and FI builds tuners usually retard timing .. I'm no expert I just get the basics of things :-/
Ohh got ya .. I just have full exhaust and intake and spacers on the way .. I'm sure if I got it tuned the tuner would prob advance my timing but he would prob add more fuel .. Which is really all I prob need .. I just want to maximize my gains from my bolt ons .. And insure the longevity of my motor

Dynotune is good option as well, but like you said over 1k? for simple bolts on mods?
Its up to you, I would not worry about doing dyno tune if budget is tight. But contact uprev if you are going with osiris. tell them what you want, they will tell you right direction.
