Default question about tune

Alright so I'm getting a kinetix V plenum or the motordyne MREV lower collector and I wanted to know if I should get a tune afterwards. Will the car be ok without a tune for a bit or is it something you all would say is mandatory? I'm not getting both at the same time, its one or the other.

My suggestion? Tune when you're done with the bolt-ons. But you will gain power with even a stock car getting tuned.

lets start with some obvious questions before anyone gives you suggestions

what year is the car? what else is done to it?
