Default My osiris tune with dyno result

Well my car is 2003 350z 6 speed this are the mods on my car:
3inch custom magnaflow
Injen CAI
Motordyne 5/16 spacer
JWT flywheel
4.083 (i know this won't effect any gain on a dyno)
Helix Test Pipes
Motordyne XYZ pipe Straight
AMS Pully (not underdrive)

Sorry been been lagging on this post b/c with school and finals.
Got my car tune at z car garage which there were really nice and friendly (if local i recommend going there get tune)
Let start off with the baseline dyno which was 245 whp and 243 tq (which i'm real surprise about the torque being so high close to hp)

After the tune made 6whp and 5tq (251whp and 248tq), i was expecting to gain little more from the tune but what i can you do i'm still happy with the number i gain and i gain power threw out the whole powerband which can't complain there. It feels bit more aggressive any every gear around 4.5k to redline, especially goto from 1st to 2nd

Still hungry for more power i'm thinking about doing cams on my car possibly jwt 272 cams, and if anyone can find me video of 350z with 272 cams in it so i would know how loud and loopy the idle would sound and also how car would sound just with normal acceleration

Fyi, if your going to put cams in better off doing a engine build. I think that the advice everyone is going to tell you.

THat's exactly what i want to do on my Touring 6MT. Just need a new exhaust, whcich will be...

Tanabe Medallion G exhaust
Ichiba Y Pipe
Kinetix Hi-Flow Cats

And possibly upgrade my headers too, but I am hesistant about it. one of the guys in my club won a set of S/S headers during Z Dayz and i wanted to trade a CT Spec Carbin Fiber Strut bar for them, but since he owned an Infiniti FX-35 and a 370Z, he decided to put the headers on the FX. Oh well...

Get back to the track and test out the new tune.. Maybe you can shave off a few tenths.

no reason to do a engine build and cams at the same time. unless you already have everything and was planing on it in the first place.

I will be building my engine down the road but for now I want to see what cams do. It's so hard to get a good combination of parts to make good power without knowing what each one is doing.

so if you build the engine and throw all these parts in it, you don't necessarily know what could be limiting you. As far as cost goes yes building the engine when installing cams is a good idea but if you are doing it yourself, its a lot faster to leave the engine in the bay and just pop the cams in.

cams and even headers are a waste of money on these cars. $2500 for another 25whp not worth it. you could probably pick up a few ponies just getting rid of that cai and getting a stock 06 air box instead.

cams and headers are good for me.

used osiris standard = 500
used strup coated header = 220
new nismo r-tune cams = 600

total = 1320 + 8 hrs for headers and est. 12 hrs for cams which I'll also be doing myself.

What will your complete set-up look like? When do you anticipate being done?
