Default UpRev Osiris tuned questions

I have osiris on my 03 350z ecu. Im wondering how the z's with no factory w/b are tuning their cars.

To me it seems that a ecu that has factory w/b might be better option for a ecu swap. this way i can just get 2 o2 sensors and not have to mess with a aftermarket wb then have to log it separate from cipher.

Im leaning towards getting a different ecu that has factory wb on it.

Also whats some IAT temps during the summer 90's out side??? im getting 150's F that just seems hottt to me, im not sure if the z ecu is getting a bad reading.

If anyone is wondering im running a 350z ecu in my 02 maxima with osiris.

Don't know much about the 03 ECU. But the highest IAT temp I have seen on mine is 105f. That was while driving at 76mph for about 3 hours. The outside temp was 97f.
Then again I do have a intercooler for my supercharger.

The HKS supercharger filter is in the the engine bay just about where the Stock one is or where most after market filter kit sit. Even when I was N/a I saw about the same Temps with my K&N Series 63 setup.

Im jw if my iat sensor is not sending the right temp or if its really that hot. In the FSM the iat goes from -4 to 212 degrees

It's not as easy as just swapping in a newer ECU. At the very least you would need to swap the wiring harnesses as well, since your 03 harness is wired for a 3 wire sensor, and the newer widebands are 5 wire. Not to mention possible incompatibilities with other OEM computers.

I can wire it up easily, im still using my stock 02 maxima harness. I just made a adapter for it. So to run a 5 wire o2 sensor would not be much of a hassle. Im just trying to see if its better to use oem widebands vs a aftermarket unit.

imo the oems will be better for tuning osiris

and with the oem w/b about any wb gauge can be wired into them???

I guess I missed the part where you mentioned you were running this on a Maxima

IAT of 150+ F is correct, I also am seeing it after 15 minutes sitting in traffic with 90's F outside.
As for ECU swap, I think there is more to it – you might like to contact UpRev about it.
