So i have got a built short block along with the greddy twin turbo kit. Its time for a tune . i have the emanage that came with the kit. I have hurd that you can not tune this emanage. So i am asking what would be the best engine controll system for my setup?

 

Some people use Osiris but for something as worked as yours maybe you should go with Haltech, Pro EFI, Etc. Find out what competent tuners are near you.

 

why cant you tune emanage? its the same as any other piggyback..

 

That's the ticket... find someone you can trust and use what they feel most confident with. Good tuner + favorite software = Well tuned car.

 

I took it as he meant most people recommend against it. This forum seems to hate the emanage(never use it myself.)

 

Ya thats another problem, finding someone i can trust around the St.Louis area to tune it. I guess this calls for a road trip up to Chicago! Thanks for the input!

 

the emanage ultimate is ok..theres no reason the emanage cant be tuned whether it is the blue or ultimate, but id recommend going with whatever the person tuning it wants to use..

The emanage can be tuned, problem is that you have to add on other stuff in order for it to keep up with the kind of power you are likely wanting to make with a built engine, like a timing harness, pressure sensor/harness and A/F input harness. And by the time you spend that much you might just want to sell it and get something better.
