Default COBB Lean Spike

Hey guys Ive been using the COBB Stage 2+ map w/ K&N Filters, Bassani Catback and GTM TPs on an HR motor, and whenever I datalog I keep getting a 20 a/f spike when i cruise like if Im ever going and take my foot off the gas I hit a 20 spike, do you guys have any ideas as to what could be causing that??

stage 2+ is for aftermarket intakes. Go to the straight stage 2 map, same but without the maf adjustments.

The lean spikes to 20 are when the injectors shut off during coasting, normal and not dangerous. There is no stress on the motor at that point.

Are you tuning with the accessrace program as well? I've made some pretty nice improvements over the stock Cobb maps. I find them to be a bit on the 'safe' side, I was able to lean the car out, smooth out some transitions and get a much smoother, stronger pull all the way to 7500.

opps, already answered in post #2

its hard to understand your issue. so are you saying when you are cruising and take your foot off the gas you get a lean spike?

That is what happens when the injectors close when you take your foot off the gas.....
