So I no longer have my 350Z, but I still have my old tune ROMs, my Osiris Tuner and a few licenses on it to spare for a good friend. I was wondering is it possible to edit my tune file to work with the ECU # of the 2005 350Z and use a license to upload it on my buddy's car?
We've already paid $50 for the e-tune, but we were hoping to upload something in the meantime, while we wait to receive the stock ROM from UpRev, do logging, send out logs, wait 10 days, etc.

Yes. You can extract all the tune data out of yours and then load is his ROM provided he already has a patch Rom. You cannot use the ROM that was in your ECU unless you both have the Same ECU Part number.
If you use you ROM in a ECU with a different part number you will Brick the ECM.
Personally I would just wait.

Right, that's what I meant. Haha, of course I know I can't just change the name. I'll take a look for my own knowledge, but I probably won't risk the upload. I'll just wait for the e-tune.
