Default Possible to modify tuned ROM to work on another 350Z?

So I no longer have my 350Z, but I still have my old tune ROMs, my Osiris Tuner and a few licenses on it to spare for a good friend. I was wondering is it possible to edit my tune file to work with the ECU # of the 2005 350Z and use a license to upload it on my buddy's car?

We've already paid $50 for the e-tune, but we were hoping to upload something in the meantime, while we wait to receive the stock ROM from UpRev, do logging, send out logs, wait 10 days, etc.

Yes. You can extract all the tune data out of yours and then load is his ROM provided he already has a patch Rom. You cannot use the ROM that was in your ECU unless you both have the Same ECU Part number.
If you use you ROM in a ECU with a different part number you will Brick the ECM.

Personally I would just wait.

Would I be able to edit the ECU Part Number in the ROM editor to my friend's car?

^^^ You just cant change the name. Essentially you would have to open up ROM editor and then open up Both ROM files, and the just copy and paste all of the values from the tuned ROM to the ROM you need to flash on yopur buddys car.

Right, that's what I meant. Haha, of course I know I can't just change the name. I'll take a look for my own knowledge, but I probably won't risk the upload. I'll just wait for the e-tune.
