Default Is a tune worth it?

hey guys I have had my Z for over a year now and all i have done to it is put on the k&n typhoon intake, resonated tps and megan racing drift spec single exhaust with the stock y pipe. i have decided that im not going to bother with any of the other NA mods because its not really worth it since in the long run i want to eventually go FI on the car, but will i see decent gains from getting an uprev osiris tune on my car with these few basic mods? thanks in advance

yeah, well the reason im asking is because most of the cars i see on here using uprev to tune have either full bolt ons or close to it, so since i only have these 3 mods and dont plan to go any further until later on down the road when and if i go FI i was unsure whether the results would be the same

If you have the money to do the tune and a guy in the area who can do it properly I'm pretty sure everyone would say it's worth it. From what I understand even just the improvement in the throttle response makes it worth it. Additionally, it'll help tighten up fuel delivery where the aftermarket air intake reportedly tricks the ECU to dump more fuel than what is necessary and actually dampen your HP. At least- that's what I've been reading.

One thing for certain is that it's probably going to be one of the more beneficial mods that you can do for your car for 700+ bucks or so. ESPECIALLY with the right guy doing the tune. Without that- you might as well just get a hamster in a wheel and buy a new engine.

I have an 03 with just intake, spacer and catback exhaust. When I went to get tuned with osiris the tuner , Jack at HP Logic here in Fl. , told me I was running really lean pretty much across the power band. He fixed that and did the rest of the tune and car runs like a champ now. obviously it's not a hp monster by any means but a great dd. So yes if you have any breathing mods I say tune.

max power on NA is made around 13:1. anything richer than that is just wasting gas. i doubt your car was running 15:1 at MBT from the factory

just buy a used cobb ap and you can just flash it yourself.. yes, osiris may be overkill.. 300 bucks, and 30 min in your garage loading it, done.
