Default Tuning disaster

sorry i put this in the worng section and moved it here .....so i purchased a ton of parts for my 2006 g. and i emailed the local tuner to get my car tuned and he just told me he no longer supports uprev. the last time i was there he did. i have all the parts installed (except the maf)so the car cant be driven far. my list of mods are:

vortech v3 tuner kit
2.87 gtm pulley
kinetix ssv intake
momentem headers
z1 test pipes
hks exhaust
440 dw injectors
walbro fuel pump
snow performance Water/meth
z1 crank pulley
tim wolf flywheel and clutch
uprev maf
uprev tuner (the $700 one)

I guess im screwed till i can figure out what to do. anysugestions welcome. live in buffalo ny. not many tuners here.

lol how does he suddenly "not support" uprev.... since you have the tuner version even if he was cut off and somehow got his protuner software revoked he could theoretically tune your setup with your tuner cable. weird.

Hit up the guys at R/T, they know their stuff they won't do you wrong

i was considering sending it somwere but i was afraid that something might break at the car would be stuck. i'm way too busy to trailer it. Maybe ill send it to Vince@R/TTuning. can you pm me a phone number?

Thanks for all your help everyone.

The tuner told me he had bad customer service and i find that hard to believe because too many people here are using uprev.

Usually the tuner is the problem.

you dont need to trailer anything.

just dont hook up the supercharger cog belt and leave stock MAF in. You can run up to 600cc injectors with zero tune on the stock ECU. It just runs a little rich if you tip in too hard. Easy on the throttle and it runs perfect. Idle is even still around 14.7. 440cc will run almost like stock.

you guys make it sound like the end of the world, mostly because people with absolutely no experience are giving advice.

OP, our number is 215 855 5565 and we are here from 9-7 EST, feel free to call and ask any questions you may have. If E mail is easier you can shot me an email to vince@rttuning.com

Also the 440cc are probably gonna be on the small side for the 2.87 pulley. Let me know if you would like to get some 600cc injectors for your set up as well as a GT MAF.

Thanks, Vince

^^ of course... its been the theme of the forum since at least a good solid 2011..

with that in mind.. Im realizing the threads ( not this one of course.. ur good OP) went from talking about Ebay lights and redonk things but were at least intelligible.... to threads truly devoid of any mental capacity or thought process. I cant wait until next year when we get threads from high school girls asking about what side the gas tank fill is on.. or do i need to change my oil? Its getting BAD.

But back to that tune..

Your best mod is to move away from Buffalo man.. holy Sheesh... my familys from Ossining/Coldspring and even THAT is scary country. Get outta South Canada! Come back to America my friend!

Im going to step out into traffic soon.. i can feel it haha. but

Just got back from RT tuning and let me say ALL the employees at RT are a class act. The shop is clean, state of the art and everyone is exceptionally knowledgeable. I had a great time in PA. and I would recommend them to anyone within 3,000 miles. My car ran great on their base tune for the 400 miles down and I had no worries driving the 400 back.

Thanks again to everyone at RT and I will be back.
