I tried to flash Utec's newest firmware and it crashes right after erasing the flash just as it says sending and verifying file. It says "Error: transfer failed"
I've tried the serial to usb adapter on two laptops all baud speeds. Then I pulled the usb cable off my printer and tried it on all speeds with no success? I really need to figure out how to get this working. Is there any tricks or anything?

 

Toss the utec and get osiris

 

I don't have the money for a new ecu.

 

Sell the utec and save your money. Osiris is only $700 new

 

Stick with whatever firmware it has. Not worth trying to polish a turd.
