Default Can I get a dyno tune for $400?

I dont own any tuning equipment like Osiris...I just want to bring the car to a shop and have them dyno tune, no interest in being able to change tunes myself....is it possible to get this done for $400 or less.

It seems most places want you to buy the cable for $500, then a shop will charge you to dyno then flash the ECU...maybe im not understanding how it all works but $400 is my spending limit for this or if there are any other options, also any dyno shops near South Chicago burbs.

Thanks,

JT

Most places charge $500. You don't get the cable for that price though IIRC.

Its actually more, the cheapest I've seen (not counting specials and group buys) is around $550, most are in the $600 range tho. That's just for the flash and tune, no cable

+1, $550 was the cheapest in CA for just a reflash and tune. No cable...

and what cable is that? the $500 Osiris one? ...lets just say even spending $400 for a remap has the potental to put me in hot water so I must tread carefully.

honestly, retuning simple bolt ons is not worth the money.

on the streets, 11whp gain is not even noticeable. less than the difference of adding a passenger.
