Default UTEC Parameters?

Can someone post a pic of their UTEC parameter screens for both Open Fuelling and User Constraints?

Just trying to narrow down a small issue and curious what other's are set up with.

Thanks in advance...

I had screen shots of my old UTEC that was professionally tuned for my twin GT25R's... but I can't find them ... I think they were on my old laptop which is toast and the UTEC is long gone... I do have another UTEC that I need to crack the password on that is tuned for twin greddy 18G kit. Once I am in I'll post it up.

Ok great thanks. Any chance parameters aren't locked? I didn't know how that worked since I tune mine on my own...

Very interested in this as well. I had mine tuned "professionally" but it's running pretty rich now. And the closest place is about 6 hours away. So I will be tuning on my own as well as help from some of the DIY Tuners in town.

Thank you for posting, athenG... So you still entered the upgraded injector size on future use anyway? Did that help?

I'm tuning via MAF since Maximas don't use MAP... I'll have to check the other parameters later. Thanks again

So I'm guessing you like tuning via map instead of Maf?

Is this towards me? Why would I want to tune MAF with boosted/turbo car? First, utec resolution is low so there is a limitation.. .. Even if I have a stand alone Speed Density or VE tuning will always be my top choice and MAF will be at to bottom of my list.. Oh, Uprev will also be at the bottom of my list... just my 02...

With Utec and Speed Density the injector size isnt as important. You scale the injector using the 0% column..

Actually from the manual that just scales the MAF signal going to the ECU. Kinda gets the job done but it's hack. So not only are you pulling fuel you're adding timing since the ECU thinks there's less air. Been battling this one for a while -- you can either be overly rich on part throttle (0%) or correct A/F but knock from excessive timing.

The only way to get everything just right (with upgraded injectors at least) is scaling the injectors via Uprev and putting the 0% as all zeros.

athenG i just know alot of mustang guys and a few are boosted and still tune on maf and insist on it. i am tuning using map not maf, just want to see what everyone else is doing. i had a dyno tune done, but didnt have my map sensor so he tuned it on maf, saying it would be ok and it was horrible. and now that i have my map sensor, i am just tuning it myself. i have some DIY tuners in town that are helping/giving advice. hopefully dyno time soon
