Hey guys and gals.I recently noticed that when I'm entering on to the highway in say third or fourth gear my rev limiter kicks in around 6k rpm,IIRC sometimes even earlier at say 5500.In neutral I can rev to red line.Why is this?
I have my car tuned with a Cobb accessport with the stage 2+,but I never noticed the rev limiter kick in this early before?!
Any help would be great.

you sure its not the VDC?

 

could possibly be an air leak too??....if when you get on it and then engine rocks and under load, it could be opening something up allowing air in.... just a thought
