Question P1273 + Tune(FL)

The code P1273 came up 3 days ago so tomorrow I will be going to the shop to check for leaks/faulty sensor . I was thinking if the code still pops I will end up getting a tune n hopefully that would work.

I have reset the code twice now. All 3 times the code came up was when I was sitting at a light and I can also drive about 40 miles until it comes on again.

I'm in Deltona,FL. Looking on the Uprev site I believe my best bet would be to go to Z Fever Racing?

Mods- Stillen exhaust ,Nismo CAI ,Berk test pipes.

If the code is coming back that quick my guess would be a failing O2 sensor. If you wanted to do some diagnositics without spending any money you could try swapping them left to right and see if the code changes sides.. if it does replace the sensor, if it doesn't look for an exhaust leak or something else

Figured I would check all the bolts on the exhaust and re-install the intake.. I did a few pulls and drove it around a bit. No codes!

Well never-mind... Code popped up again.. Right before I fixed it, P1283 also showed up. Now I have both codes again ..Got about 100 miles this time.

EDIT- Took it to the dealership. Everything is great, no leaks at all. I was told about $250 per sensor .

I will be getting the sensors replaced in the next 2-3 days. Just for the hell of it,I did another scan and it shows ALL FOUR sensors now.

no way all 4 sensors would fail unless you ripped the wiring out driving over something.

sounds like you are throwing money at the problem. just hope it actually fixes it

Update~ I already knew that all four sensors did not go out, but with my warranty they would be replaced for free basically. When I took it to the dealership, they now find out I'm running pretty lean/rich at idle only which is causing the problem. Also getting a new alternator. Good Bye Code
