Tuning Options for 2016
Had my 2003 Z for about 6 months now and after dealing with all the maintenance issues and adding headers, TPs and a tru dual exhaust, I'm ready to get it tuned.
I see several tuning solutions but what is/are the best option(s) in 2016? Reflash? Stanalone?

Did I say a joke?
FYI AEM has a PNP standalone solution:

I'm not laughing at you...I'm laughing at the aftermarkets ability (or lack there of) to create a standalone tuning solution...it only happen a decade after the car debut...
AEM has the infinity, Haltech has the ProZ & the elite, Link has the G4+,
baaaahhuuuttt...I am laughing at you that you'd consider a standalone for a bolt-on tune...stick with Uprev or a haltech plug & play piggyback...
if you want to dive into it, look into High Performance Academy - they explore many of the ECUs applications for the VQDE -
happy hunting!

If you're diving into the world of tuning for the first time hacking into the OEM system is a pretty big first bite
for the simple bolt ons you don't need the horsepower (NPI) that a newer haltech will deliver ... I dont know that the stand alone ECUs will pass emission (albeit, state specific) and cost ... I think the newer Haltech Elite is $3500 for just the ECU, let alone the the peripherals, tune, etc...
