Default Unbricking SH7058, failed bootmode

Hi,

I've been following guides on how to unbrick a GTR ECU (like this one: https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/6110...ce-tuning.html)

I feel like I'm really close to getting it right but there's just something missing.

I have all the wires connected properly.

I believe I have the watchdog timer(250 Hz, 50% duty cycle) correct and WD1 is pulled to ground, as shown in the following pic:

The following is what occurs when I try to communicate with the ECU in boot mode:

As you can see the reset pin goes high for a little bit(immediately after I disconnect the pin from GND) but then it is eventually pulled low. It is my understanding that the reset pin needs to be continuously pulled high while in boot mode.

For this brief period of reset being pulled high, I can actually communicate with the ECU:

I get the correct responses. It's just that once that reset pin goes low, the ECU goes silent.

Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone had similar issues?

Thanks.
