Default Unique or common vacuum leak?

My 04 Z has had a rough idle for awhile now I’ve got no ses light (actually she never throws a light even if I unplug sensors but that’s another issue lol) but I do keep getting random codes with obd2 scanner the last two were abs an p0300. Mods list is small but knock off hks true duel cat back exhaust, z1 test pipes, z1 plenum spacer, jwt clutch/flywheel an pop charger I’ve double an triple checked everything I’ve touched or so I thought. When I installed the plenum spacer I also order the Z1 plenum hardware kit an after going around with a propane bottle I finally stuck the hose on top of one of the bolts an found they were sucking in air. Torque spec is 62in-lb (I believe) rn there at 80in-lb in hopes theyd seal, I’m just curious if anyone else has had this issue or any ideas on how to seal them I was thinking filling the caps with some sort of thread sealant

This is one of the caps that comes with the kit along with a Allen key style bolt.

I had this problem. Coat both sides of your gaskets with clear RTV. Same for bolts, problem solved.

I spray my gaskets with high temp gasket maker an haven’t had a leak yet, Sou just fill the cap with rtv an then torque the bolt down??

That is why I ditch the stupid OEM manifold, very little to go wrong on the velocity manifold.

Depends on your application, and desires for the car, it has been proven that the velocity does equal a faster car, but the numbers are slightly lower to that of a spacer. Most people will rev out the DE and after peak power it falls HARD while a velocity won't and can even shift the power upwards a bit.
Compared to a MREV/spacer combo the price difference is negligible, that being said it you don't rev your car or don't plan on boosting I'd stay away, otherwise it's a no brainer. My car lost a little torque but it's mostly from my intake, the ideal intake on these cars is short and straight, mine is a CAI with the filter in the grille.
Other advantages are there is less to leak, easier to work on the engine, looks better, weighs less. My car nice after 6k, I don't constantly rev it there but when I do it's music to my ears.
