Is it possible to tune your car yourself with this? What would you need in addition to this unit to properly tune the car?

You need a Dyno to tune it on, otherwise a wideband O2, one that logs would be ideal. Without these, your pretty much blind trying to tune.

Yeah what they said.... let us know how it goes.... not a lot of people have gone the afc route for some reason. I have one also but haven't installed it yet. I'll post results as well.

I have ordered the SAFC II and will install when my car gets out of the shop. I am curious as to how much it will improve. You have to tune to dyno, making very small adjustments while doing so.
