I have an 2003 impoted 350Z Auto/Tiptronic but have very little technical info and would appreciate help with the following:

I want to use a trolley jack but don't know the safe area to put pad?
The auto box doesn't have a significant oil cooler - has anyone fitted one - is there a requirement. My footwell transmission tunnel seems to get hot during long trips - left leg is always too warm?
Is there a workshop manual on line anywhere - our american friends seem to service and modify without any problems?
I find that at slow speeds that there is a low frequency noise, almost like a rubbing brake pads, that I suspect is the autbox, is this normal? has anyone in the Portsmouth / Suuthampton area got an Auto 350Z that I could listen to to see if it is the same?

Where did you import it from? My understanding is that there isn't an option of an autobox from Nissan UK so you may have some trouble getting them to look at it.

You also need to let us know what mileage, and whether it has any mods on it.

I would also suggest that you post something like this in the main 350z forum rather than this one.

Thanks for the response - car was imoported from Japan as a personal import. It's done 14,000 miles and as you suggest I think I would get more responses from the main 350 forum
