We had some goats and a group of vipers that showed up last year on the dragon while we were there.

 

I ran into the Viper club last year at Clingman's Dome. It was quite a collection of cars. I don't remember seeing an unusual amount of GTOs. I guess they are too common nowadays.

I live in Waynesville, NC...where I-40 was shut down, due to slide. It is open, so throw away the GPS's, just keep driven down I-40. The "Dragon" is open as well, according to their site. So, all is well, for now

 

the Dragon is only open from 8am-8pm... and heavily patrolled by cops. So better keep your speed down!

Still tryin to get someone out of my friends to tag along to split the costs. If I manage, I'll be there else it'll be a harder decision.
