It is in Charlotte, NC @ zmax and is on July 28, 29.

So, who is going? It is 3 more hours out of my way but myself and a many others don't care. It is THE biggest import gathering in the nation/world and last year in Nashville, it drew around 10,600 spectators and over 6000 cars. We set the record for attendance at a single gathering at the Nashville Superspeedway, That means that, in the heart of NASCARville..and import gathering set the record! If anyone knows of any caravans down, or wants to set one up, please post it here as the more the merrier.

The move had nothing to do with IA or anything event related. The track has completely shut down indefinitely because NASCAR no longer wants to race there. The track can't afford insurance for single weekend events without their support and the only people who can even get on the track are race teams that carry their own liability insurance. And even they won't get running water or electricity lol. The track is only open for closed course testing for now.

 

I sure hope I dont drive up to this one for nothing. Lol.
I hope to attend this if work doesn't interfere.

That's cool. Im curious if it's going to be similar to nopi at all? Food? Beers? Etc? I think I saw something about no beers but not sure of it was here or not. Or is this just like the Atlanta deal- just a big meet...

 

its the same thing as the atlanta one except about 2 or 3 times as big if its like last year and usually has some small competitions sponsored my some of the vendors.
