Just turned on the insurance on the Z. Spring took long enough to get here dammit! Car won't be ready but I'll be there. Headed to Japan right after ZdayZ. Lmao! Had the company reschedule meetings around ZdayZ!

Oil/filter: changed
Manual trans fluid: changed
Diff fluid: changed
Brake pads: changed
Brake fluid: flushed
Clutch fluid: flushed

My tires have another event left in them, so I'm waiting until after next weekend to mount the new tires.

Anticipation growing....

I do the transmission and diff once a year and just before ZdayZ seems like as good a time as any.

I pay very close attention to the brakes just for ZdayZ though. I flush the brakes twice per year and make sure that one of those times is just before ZdayZ. I also check the rotors too. And I try to make sure I go to ZdayZ on fresh oil.

So I guess most of the prep is for ZdayZ.

Don't know if I'll be there this year or not. My wife (26) was just given the news she has breast cancer. Looks like we caught it early & may wait till right after ZDayZ for operation. Have to wait & see what Dr suggest. If we do make it, I will be the redline Z sporting a PINK breast cancer awareness ribbon.

My wife went through colon cancer six years ago along with the surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy that came with it.

She is doing great now and I'm sure you're wife will beat this too.

My prayers are with you both.
