enyone tried the big bend open road race in texas

Resently came across a magazine article, about the Big Bend Open Road Race. I was wondering if enyone has herd of or been to this event. Was thinking about trying to enter next yr

i thought about taking the vette out there, but make sure you read all the rules.... you have to have a race suit, fire extengisher, harness bar and harnesses, motorcyle helmets are not allowed, etc etc etc
