Any word/suggestions on using this kit on an N/A car with some N2O? I'm wondering if the same principle of knock/timing would apply although it's not FI.

yes your thinking along the right lines, we do have N/A kits and they do work well with nitrous, as this will act like running race gas, in terms of knock resistence and enabling you to run more aggressive timing 
Any chance you can PM me some more info regarding this kit for the N/A N2O application?
I went through both your and the manufacturer site but didn't get any further details. The only difference I found is the manufacturer changed the kit to be used with either a vacum line (which I dont think will work with the Z) and/or a TPS. Which then tells me it will only work at WOT.... but, what are the settings?
Anyway, I'm sure you can see my interest along with my concerns. Any help is appreciated.

Any of our vari-cool kits can be made NA with our N/A controller. It can inject based on Vacuum, TPS or Vacuum and TPS. It can also inject based on MAF or any other 0-5V input.
