A track that limits sound, sounds like a track I woulds have no interest in going to.....BORING (like nascar!) 
I do not have decibel readings for these, but I can tell you that MANY satisfied customers are using them on tracks all over. The only real way you can get a solid idea of the sound, next to the numerous YouTube videos out there, is to experience one in person.
